Microspeak: uncool code
dogfood
Sofware code not fit for public consumption but good enough for internal purposes, very unrefined and buggy (that is, full of bugs), but containing the basic nutrients. Alternately, code you're developing and using in daily functions simultaneously (a process known as "eating your own dogfood").
klugey
(also: kludgey; pronounced "CLUE-gee"): clunky, inefficient, inelegant. "It's a kind of klugey solution, but we don't have the cycles to clean it up." Also known in noun form as klu(d)ge.

Code is the raison d'être of geekdom, the yardstick by which a person's smartness can be judged, the daily challenge of 'code warriors'... Incidentally, does one talk of 'code bums', in the 'ski bum' sense?
