Glasgow Patter: body language ....
doosh
A slang word for the face: 'Ah wannered um right in the doosh.'
geggie
One's mouth: 'Why don't you just shut yer geggie an no show yer ignorance?' This is sometimes shortened to gegg: 'Ah might as well keep ma gegg tight shut as try tae talk sense tae you.'
neb
Another word for nose: 'Just you keep yer aul neb out a this.' It is also used to mean a nosey (or sometimes cheeky) individual: 'What was that wee neb askin ye?' A neb can also be an instance of being nosey or prying: 'Is she no back from the toilet yet? She must be havin a neb round upstairs.'

Parts of the body often feature prominently in informal or popular language, like the face, the nose, the feet, the bottom or the so-called private parts... This makes sense, as these are items close to basic needs and feelings. The Patter is no exception to this, although not particularly developed as far as the sexual field is concerned - perhaps owing to Scottish puritanism?
