stormer

A slang term for anything considered outstandingly good: 'Mackay made sure of the points with an absolute stormer of a goal in the eighty-ninth minute.'

stoater

Anything excellent, but especially an attractive member of the opposite sex, may be called a stoater: 'He hit him a stoater right in the coupon.' 'That wis a big stoater ye nipped last night.'

rare, rerr

Used to describe anything excellent: 'Ye make a rare cuppa tea, hen.' 'Ye want tae have seen that fillum...it wis rerr!'
