Any of a wide range of things seen as exceptionally good: "The baw landit at his feet an he hit it a belter." "Who wis that wee belter ye were chattin up there?"

To say that something is the (wee) jinkies is to describe it as excellent: "Aye, yer granny's trifle's the wee jinkies, intit, son?"
