howlin
A slang term meaning very smelly: "His boots were howlin so Ah slung them oot in the close."
howpin
Another smelly word: "Ah'll need tae clean oot that fridge. There's somethin howpin in there."
mockit or mawkit
This can mean soiled or dirty: "Ye're no gaun oot in they mockit trousers, are ye?" It is also used to mean dirty in the sense of obscene or lewd: "How come ye never actually see anybody takin oot wan a they mawkit videos?"
